Perth is said to be the most isolated city in the world, but
don't let that put you off, nearly 2 million residents cant have all got it
wrong. You are going to need to fly for five hours to get here from the Eastern
States, or you could take a bus! But Perth also could be the most picturesque
city in Australia. Nestled on the banks of the Swan river, Perth has some of the
best beaches in the country. Unlike
Brisbane, Perth got it right when it comes to access to the surf. Check out
the historic town of Fremantle. Once home to the America Cup, Fremantle is Perth
portside jewel, with ample accommodation, restaurants and those white sand
beaches again, all within coooee of you hotel or hostel. |
