Budget accommodation in Western Australia

The biggest state in Australia, West Australia or WA as it is fondly known, is as diverse as it is big. Here you can find lush forests in the south, arid deserts in the centre and wind swept coastal beaches along its entirety. Perth is the largest and capital city where you can start you exploration of this massive sparsely populated piece of Australia -
South West - The farming heart of West Australia, here you can soak up gastronomic delights of world class wineries and gourmet vineyard restaurants at Margaret River or climb giant trees at Pembleton. Head further south to the coastal holiday towns of Denmark and Albany.

Outback - North from Perth is gold mining country. Kalgoorlie, the largest town in this remote area, makes a ideal base to explore the areas historic mining past. The region is riddled with ghost towns and relics of the late eighteen hundreds boom time.

North West - Out of the way.... or "Outback", is the only way to describe the region from Karratha to Kununurra. This is true 4 wheel drive country with the tropical oasis of Broome right in the middle. Broome, population 11000, has become one of WA's fastest growing tourist destinations.
